Dear Alumni, Please mark your calendar on April 24, 1999. Tsinghua Alumni Association of Georgia will have its annual picnic party to celebrate the 88th anniversary of our Alma Mater at Lake Lanier. The details of this party are attached. We welcome all alumni and their friends and family members to join us. What: Tsinghua Alumni Association of Georgia Annual Picnic Party When: 11:00am-2:00pm, Saturday, April 24, 1999 Where: Upper Overlook Park, located on the south bank of Lake Lanier and the east side of Buford Dam in Gwinnett County. It is on the west and south side of Buford Dam Road. Direction: 1. From down town Atlanta, Drive along I-85 north and exit at Exit 45 (at left side of I-85) for I-985 north. Turn to Rd 20 at exit 1 of I-985, toward Lake Lanier. Drive about 7 miles on Rd 20, which changes its name from Nelson Brogdon Blvd to Cumming Hwy, and turn right to Suwanee Dam Rd. At the end of Suwanee Dam Rd, turn left to Buford Dam Rd. Upper Overlook Park is on your left side (less than one mile). You may see our direction along the road. 2. From Duluth, Drive along Buford Hwy or Peachtree Industry Blvd north. Turn left to Lawrenceville-Suwanee Dam Rd north. At the end of the road (8-10 miles) is Buford Dam Rd. Turn left Buford Dam Rd and drive less than one mile. You will see Upper Overlook Park on your left side. Cost: $6 per person; $4 per student or senior (over 60 young); $2 for child under 5-12.
